What to Expect at Reflections

Mama, you've got a LOT going on. Your little one is sitting up, reaching, grabbing, and more!

That’s why I take care of everything, from hair and makeup for you to wardrobe for the whole family. You can relax and enjoy playing with your baby, knowing your memories are being brought to life.

After the session, return to the studio for your image reveal, choose your favourites, and leave the rest to me. I'll design, order, and install your portrait artwork.

All children develop differently, and that’s such a beautiful thing. Work with me to book your six-month session and other milestones in advance.

My approach goes beyond simply taking photos; I strive to capture genuine moments of joy and connection that reflect the unique personality of your baby. With a warm and inviting atmosphere, I create an environment where you and your baby can relax and enjoy the session, resulting in beautifully authentic baby portraits.

  • While I provide a variety of props and accessories for the session, feel free to bring any special items that you’d like to incorporate into the baby photoshoot. This could include sentimental toys, blankets, trinkets that calm down your baby. Additionally, it’s a good idea to bring along any essentials your baby may need during the session, such as diapers, wipes, and a change of clothes for afterward.

  • Six-month baby photography sessions are held in my studio filled with natural light, which is designed to provide optimal comfort and lighting for your family. Located in Grimsby, Ontario, my photography studio is conveniently accessible for clients from Hamilton, Niagara Falls, and surrounding areas. All the materials and wardrobe needed for the session are readily available in the studio, ensuring a seamless and stress-free experience for you and your baby.

  • Yes, of course! I encourage parents to include siblings and other family members in the baby photography session. Families are welcome in baby photographs. I do a variety of baby photography with siblings, parents, and on their own. Capturing the bond between siblings is a beautiful way to document this special time in your family’s life. Just let me know in advance so I can plan accordingly and ensure everyone feels comfortable and included during the session.

  • No need to worry! Babies have their own schedules, and I completely understand that they may need to be fed or changed during the session. We’ll take breaks as needed to attend to your baby’s needs, ensuring they’re comfortable and content throughout the session. I aim to create a relaxed and stress-free environment where you and your baby can enjoy the experience.
